YCN was incorporated in July 2006. It is a Community Interest Company (CIC) limited by guarantee. This means that the Company exists to serve the community and its profits are reinvested to develop its work rather than awarded to private shareholders.
Also as a CIC YCN can not sell off its assets for profitable gain - it has to transfer them to a charity - for YCN this is Childline & NSPCC.
YCN has a Management Committee consisting of its Directors and Company Secretary. You can read more about them here.
YCN plans to create both paid jobs and a number of volunteering opportunities for the Liverpool community.
